Curacao vs. Germany

Free World Cup Soccer Play from Doc’s Sports. Take Germany -3.5 GL over Curacao (1 p.m. EST, Sunday June 14) The expanded World Cup has 16 more sides at 48 compared to the 32 that competed in the past. Therefore, there will be a major talent disparity in some matchups. This is one of those matchups. A major change is that goal differential is not the main tiebreaker for the knockout stage. If two teams are tied on points, the first tiebreaker will be head-to- head matchups. This eliminates the need for clubs to run up the score, so we think there will be a lack of blowouts in this tournament. However, we do think this one will be ugly, as even the German subs will be taking target practice late against Curacao. The tiny island nation is playing in its first World Cup and is just happy to be here. This is the smallest nation ever to qualify for the big tournament. They will likely be embarrassed here, however. They will have a better chance for a little national pride in matches against Ivory Coast and Ecuador in Group E matches, but that probably means just scoring a goal, which is unlikely here against the German giants. Curacao looked horrible in their World Cup warmups, as they lost to China, Australia and Scotland with a goal differential of -9 (as of this writing, with one more warm up match). Germany is head and shoulders above those sides, and they should win this one by four or five goals without much effort.

7-unitPlay. Take #698 Montreal Alouettes -6.5 over Toronto Argonauts (Friday, June 12th, 7:00 p.m. CFL+)

We're backing Montreal ‑6.5 as the strongest play, with the Alouettes coming off a sharp Week 1 overtime win in Hamilton, where Davis Alexander posted 336 yards, two touchdowns, and a 113.5 rating, while now returning home to Percival Molson Stadium. At this venue, they traditionally perform well and carry clear momentum. Toronto opens its season on the road after a bye and must reintegrate Chad Kelly following his year‑long absence, creating real uncertainty in their first live action of 2026. Market numbers in the 6.5–7.5 range reflect Montreal's superior form, roster depth, and defensive stability, and Toronto's history of slow early‑season road starts only strengthens the matchup edge. With the weather leaning wet and cool, conditions favor the more cohesive home side, and Montreal's Week 1 efficiency suggests they can control the game and comfortably cover the key number.

7 Unit Play. Take #903 Arizona -105 over Cincinnati (7:15p.m., Friday, June 12 Apple TV+) The Diamondbacks need to get back on track after getting swept by Miami this week. They are back to .500 but have the right man on the mound to break this losing streak in Eduardo Rodriguez. He is 5-2 on the season with a 2.52 E.R.A. and a 1.18 WHIP. His numbers are far and away better than LHP Nick Lodolo. He has gotten hit much of the season including giving up 3 home runs in his last two starts. The Reds are without Elly De La Cruz and that is a major void for them. Cincinnati has fallen below .500 and they are just 16-16 at home. Arizona gets the win and we collect at a nice underdog price.

2 Unit Play. Take #630 Washington -2 over Toronto (7:30p.m., Friday, June 12 ION) Washington needs this win more and they will beat Toronto for a second time this season. The Mystics already won a game in Toronto on May 8th, and I see them taking care of business at home. Toronto is well coached and likely will make the playoffs this season but they are not the desperate team in this game.

SERVICE BIO

Doc's Sports Service has been in the sports handicapping business since 1971, and we are recognized as one of the leaders and most trusted names in the industry.

Most handicapping services are one-man operations, but here at Doc’s Sports we are among the most progressive thinkers in the industry, and we have assembled some of the finest experts in the country for our service.

We are one of the few handicapping companies that have withstood the test of time because of hard work, honesty and consistently of providing winners to our valued clients.

Since 1971 Doc’s Sports became famous for our college football Big Ten Game of the Year that won and covered the point spread 19 years in a row.

Doc’s Sports is one of the only handicapping services whose powerful influence has historically moved the official Las Vegas line more than seven points.

At Doc’s Sports we often focus on lesser-known teams and less-popular games as oftentimes less information is available on those teams and games and certain trends tend to stick out and offer value that the average person may not catch.

Oddsmakers set lines to balance the action, so in reality we're often handicapping against the general public perception, and the general public rarely ever wins long term. When you think of it that way our job is really not that difficult since we have more than four decades of experience and know what to look for when handicapping a game. The sportsbooks and oddsmakers have to handicap and set lines for every game -- we simply find a few of their mistakes.

Doc’s Sports uses a combination of technical and fundamental handicapping along with exclusive information that we gather from a vast network of contacts that we have developed over the past 40+ years.

At Doc’s Sports we built our name in the 1970s by becoming one of the best in handicapping college sports. That still holds true today as our best results still come from college football and college basketball.

We also have individual full-time handicappers for NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, WNBA, CFL and major horse races, and we feel we have some of the top experts in the country in these designated fields. We are always in search of the best talent for our team, and what surprises most people is that some of our best information comes from our own clients.

These are trusted clients that have been not only customers but have turned into friends of ours over the years, and they are able to pick up on key information in their areas.  We love the feeling of being able to help people make money when facing challenging odds.

Good money can be made if one has the connections, and here at Doc's Sports we pride ourselves on uncovering the edge that gives the clients the ability to beat the books on a consistent basis.
