Stars vs. Lightning
+1½ -175
in 5h

Friday NHL Free play. My selection is on Dallas +1.5 goals over Tampa Bay at 7:05 pm et on Friday.

The Lightning cruised to a 6-2 victory in the first game of this two-game set in Tampa but I look for the Stars to answer back with a far more competitive effort on Friday night. Note that Dallas has gone 10-2 the last 12 times it has played on the road revenging consecutive losses by two goals or more against an opponent, outscoring the opposition by an average margin of 1.2 goals in that spot. We've also seen the Stars allow just 1.9 goals per game the last seven times they've played on the road off a loss by four goals or more against a division opponent, as is the case here, outscoring the opposition by 0.1 goal on average in that situation. Dallas of course still has something to play for as it desperately tries to avoid missing the playoffs after reaching the Stanley Cup Final in the Edmonton bubble last fall. The Stars are currently four points behind the fourth place Predators in the Central Division and while the chances are slim, they still have a shot with three games remaining and a game in hand on the Preds. Dallas recently got a boost with the return of Tyler Seguin and he's scored a goal in each game since getting back in the lineup. The Lightning are rolling along right now but do have a look-ahead to a two-game set against the rival Panthers on deck beginning tomorrow. Take Dallas +1.5 goals (8*).

Sean went 2-1 in NHL action last night (3-1 including free) and extends his 79-44 (+$2,820) NHL run and 14-5 (+$866) NHL big ticket moneyline tear with his 10* Revenge Game of the Month for May on Friday night! Ducks vs. Wild
-1½ -112
in 6h

The set-up: Anaheim has been trading wins and losses over its last six games. Off a 3-2 shootout win at St. Louis, I expect this trend to continue here. The Ducks only average 2.19 GPG, while allowing 3.13.

The pick: Minnesota beat Vegas 6-5, but then lost 3-2 in OT here to the Knights in the rematch two nights ago. The Wild are in a desperate fight for top spot in the conference with just four games to go. The Wild average 3.25 GPG, while allowing 2.73. I believe that Minnesota comes to play today and off their big shootout win on the road, everything points to the Ducks taking a predictable "nose-dive" here. Consider the home side in this one.

This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the WILD on the PUCK-LINE.
